Staff selection commission has been established in order to recruit staff for various posts that are released from time to time in various ministries and departments of government of India. The commission is attached to the office of the Department of Personnel and Training that comprises of a chairman, 2 members and secretary who also acts as controller of examinations. SSC has released a another new notification for Stenographer Staff (Group C & D) in Central government ministries, departments and subordinate offices. Candidates who are willing to apply will have to go through the notification in detail to understand the requirement. Eligible candidates are required to go through the notification in detail in order to ply to the right category. The current notification is released to recruit stenographer
Who can apply ?
Though no prior experience is required for SSC Steno post, there is a limit on the maximum age for entrance for a post for a candidate. Provided below are the details of age limit:
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 01.08.2013: Age relaxation is applicable to all the candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC and General Categories.
Candidates who are willing to apply for the post should have a minimum education of higher secondary (12th)or equivalent
Selection procedure
Eligible candidates are required to apply for the post by submitting an online application. An individual can apply SSC Recruitment 2013 program. A written examination will be conducted by SSC to recruit individuals. Those selected in the written examination will be called in for personal interview.
Application Fee: Rs. 100, fee can be pay through various modes like Central Recruitment Fee Stamp, SBI Net banking etc. Read notice for complete instruction about fee process.
