It invited applications in the format given in the notification from qualified unmarried male candidates for the employment of Airmen in Group ‘Y’ trades. What are the Airmen Group-Y Trades?

Jobs like Admin Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Logistics Assistant, Environment Support Services Assistant (ESSA), Communication Technician, Meteorological Assistant, Ops Assistant and Medical Assistant are called Airmen Group ‘Y’ Trades.

Airmen Salary

During training period the selected candidate are paid Rs. 8550/- as stipend. After successful completion of training they will draw Rs. 19,475/- as salary including all allowances.

Educational Qualifications for Airmen Jobs

10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent certificate. A candidate applying for Indian Air Force Airmen Jobs should have obtained 50% marks in the above said qualifications. In addition he should also have scored 50% marks in English.
